A moveable feast of food, art and culture
SATURDAY 27 JULY, 12-6PM, FREE
Join us for the Warwick Bar Summer Fete, a moveable feast of art, culture and food.
Experience Digbeth’s canalside afresh with street food, guided walks, visual art & performance, aerial theatre, music, family friendly workshops, and a pedal powered cinema.
Visit an exhibition celebrating the revolutionary nature of David Bowie; ponder the past and future of Digbeth as a site for the genesis of Birmingham; be amazed by aerial acrobatics; critique consumption; attend publication launches; cycle power a cinema in the banana warehouse; and browse food and craft stalls.
Plus, don’t miss your chance to address the burning question of our age: if Digbeth were a pie, what would it taste like?
Warwick Bar Summer Fete, Edible Eastside and Digbeth Dining Club announce a jam-packed line of unusual sweet and savoury treats to suit every appetite. The following stalls will be situated across sites at Minerva Works and Edible Eastside: Bushman Wood Fired Pizzas, The Meat Shack, Bournville Waffle Company, The Mexican Bean, Devenish Girl, Unbuntu Handmade Bread, The Bearwood Pantry, Sbragias, Wildside Handmade Preserves and Miss Apples Sweets.
Cultural contributions brought to you by Vivid Projects, Still Walking, Ayo & Oni, Grand Union, Ikon’s Slow Boat, Companis, Stryx, MSFAC (Margaret Street Free Arts Council), RoguePlay Theatre, Harris Moore, WEMAKE6, and VINYL.
